Diving in Croatia

Diving club Pula was founded in 2006. The club itself is located in Tehnomont marina Veruda in Pula.
Rich underwater flora and fauna, as well as remains of sunken ships represent a challenge to divers for researching and photographing the underwater world. Scuba divers are offered opportunities to dive along the coast during both day and night, cave diving, deep-sea diving or wreck diving.
With Branislav Danevski (2nd* UDI Instructor, 2nd* CMAS underwater photography instructor, and HSA Course director) and Jagoda Danevski (Master diver UDI and HSA instructor) the club really can give professional guidance of different diving activities to a wide circle of interested people.
The club offers not only discovery diving (a 1st time dive for non-divers) and recreational diving, but also diving courses for all category from Junior to Instructor. The club also provides services of underwater photo-safari for all interested parties. With all the standard equipment, one can also rent a photo-camera to document his/her adventure under water. For special enthusiasts the club provides courses of underwater photography.
It is important to mention that diving locations along the coast are located 5 to 20 minutes from the club, and 30 to 60 minutes if it’s a ship wreck, where the depth usually doesn’t exceed 35 meters. The club has two boats – 1 registered for 10 persons with an access that’s suitable for handicapped people, and a 2nd boat for 5 divers. If needed, the club can rent even bigger boats.
With two Bauer compressors with joined capacity of 500 l per hour and a 50 000 l air tank, the club has no problem servicing all of its customers with tank filling. In addition, there are 10 complete sets of diving equipment, and 10, 12 and 15 l air tanks.
This club understands the lower standards of some, so all of the prices are 25-30% lower than the usual prices of other clubs. It also has weekend and one-week programmes, at even lower prices than the above mentioned. The club is also open to additional negotiations with instructors and clubs that plan on coming with numerous groups of divers.
The main policy of the club is to always work in groups of 8 persons maximum. That way, more safety and control can be provided. There is also better mutual communication and cooperation between group members which results in a more powerful impression left after diving.
We are proud to announce that Diving club Pula is the only club in all of Croatia with a licensed course director and instructor with active statuses in the HSA.
After acquiring a boat suited for handicapped people and finishing HSA courses, working with disabled people became one of the major activities of the club - to improve the quality of life and health through diving and swimming programmes.
